Seymour St. Craft Workshop was established in 1996 to
provide adults with learning disabilities with accredited
training towards supported employment. The Company is
comprised of local business people, parents and carers of
people with learning disabilities, and representation from
Down Lisburn Trust.

The project opened in January 1998 trading as Stepping
Stones, a community business, providing the environment for
adults with learning disabilities to avail of vocational training
leading to supported employment, through its coffee shop,
craft shop, & picture framing workshop.

Since inception Stepping Stones has developed extensively
with its business activities including:
> Stepping Stones Coffee Shop.
> Pink Elephant Cards.
> Picture Framing.
