Sarah has recently gained employment in Supervalu, Dromore, following a short and very successful work placement.

The Employment Service sourced this work placement, close to Sarah’s home, and provided ongoing support to both the employer and employee throughout the recruitment process and beyond. 

Supervalu commented “Sarah has been in the store for 4 months, working alongside other members of staff and management. Her placement was made possible with the support of Stepping Stones”

The placement had been so successful that Sarah was offered a permanent job in the store which she accepted with great enthusiasm.

Speaking about the appointment, Carol Coogan, Manager,  said “I am delighted to welcome Sarah to our business. In the short time she has been with us, she has settled very quickly. She works very hard and is getting to know our staff and customers. I would like to wish her every success in her job and look forward to working with her in the future.”

Speaking about her job, Sarah said: “It’s fantastic! My job is cool, I fill out the shelves with crisps, drinks and biscuits.  I enjoy meeting new people and the staff in SuperValu are fantastic.”
