The Employment Service at Stepping Stones aims to assist people with learning disabilities and difficulties to find and keep a paid job.

This is done through individually tailored work placements and all clients are fully supported by our committed and experienced staff team.

• Stepping Stones Employment Service assists adults with learning difficulties and learning disabilities to find paid employment and for some voluntary work of their choice with the right level of support in the workplace from Employment Officers and Job Coaches.

• Individuals wishing to experience the world of work and eventually seeking paid employment are assigned to an Employment Officer who will work closely with them to identify skill, special aptitudes and training areas.

• We provide information, guidance and support to people with a learning disability or learning difficultly and employers at every stage of the process and ensure it is fully inclusive from beginning to end.
